A Life-changing way of thinking!

Christians come face-to-face with many situations in their lives. Oral Roberts gives a new perspective on the way we face these situations in this book. I just couldn't put this book down and re-read many statements since I first read it. This was my 'all-time' best book I've read and had a huge influence on personal ways of thinking as well as a Pastor in ministry. What a great way to look at life from a Bible based perspective.

I love the way he express himself in this book. God is so good. Very powerful and so true. Great faith builder and simple but valueable teachings on your walk in Christ.

timeless classic

This guy could target faith to get results. In a time period where faith was a pretty useless word and Christianity was abstract and believers were pretty helpless, he broke down the scriptures and applied them analytically to get tremendous results. I have since read the biographies of the evangelists of his era and before, and I was interested to learn that each one had used a form of strategies like he employs. He just said it better, in this book. To see how prayer can be applied to get marked and tangible results was very interesting. I found this book just jump started me exploring the scriptures and applying to related areas which has been very exciting. It takes life from being something where you may have bad times that leave you feeling helpless to pulling strategies to change those circumstances to something good. This was the guy who said something good is gong to happen to you and you see that attitude all through this book. However, its potential practical applications take it further. Whether you liked him or not, his strategies are backed up by Bible scripture and that keeps his ideas timeless.
